BROMSGROVE Tennis Club recorded another batch of good results in the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Summer Tennis League.
Among those involved Ladies B Team who maintained their place at the top of Division Three with a 5-1 win away at third-placed Manor Park B.
The Ladies C Team also produced the goods as they thumped David Lloyd Dudley 6-0, which delighted captain Anne Simper.
“This was a great result as although we managed to beat their second and third pairs convincingly, their first pair was very strong and our 1st and 2nd pairs both fought hard over three sets to secure the wins.”
There was also success for the men as the B Team edged Hallow. With the score level at 3-3 and at six sets each, the side got the winning draw by six games.
The Mens C Team played their first match of the summer season against Division Five leaders Stourport, who were playing their last match of the season.
And the Bromsgrove side did not disappoint, clinching a 4-2 win, which captain John Casey said was the first loss which Stourport had recorded in all of their six matches.
