RESIDENTS are invited to try their hand at sailing tomorrow (Saturday), when Upton Warren Sailing Club open their gates to the public.
The club, which is based at Aztec Adventure & Aqua Park (Upton Warren) near Bromsgrove, is inviting visitors – regardless of having prior experience – to try sailing for free between 12pm and 5pm.
Organisers say sailing offers a great solution for families struggling to find something to do during the summer months, and with professional qualified instructors on hand to offer support and maintain safety, there is no reason not to get involved on Saturday.
For members of the family not willing to step onto a boat, the centre’s Aqua Park offers a fun alternative, with cafes on site open throughout the day.
