BROMSGROVE Ladies continued their impressive start to the season with a 3-0 victory over Tenbury Firsts.

Two of those goals were scored in the first ten minutes as Bromsgrove took control before Vic Longmore rounded off the win with her second.

After just six minutes Bromsgrove opened the scoring when a Heather Nunnerley penalty corner was turned home by Kirsty Gormley.

Bromsgrove doubled their lead four minutes later with a superb full pitch move, which was started by Katy Masters. Her pass found Caroline Baker who laid it off to Tricky Burton.

The ball was then advanced upfield by Burton before she thread a great pass through to Longmore. She beat the last defender before calmly slotting the ball past the advancing Tenbury keeper.

Bromsgrove continued to dominate and had many chances to increase the lead before excellent work by Stacey Nash allowed Longmore to finish.

Coach Alan Gormley said: “Rarely have I seen one team so dominant for a whole game as we were today. Our approach play and passing interchanges were first class and we created so many chances.

“All we have to do now is turn more of those chances into goals.”

Bromsgrove Seconds earned their first points of the season with a 2-2 draw away to Pershore while the Thirds hammered Bournville Seconds 7-1.
