Porter hits treble as Winyates down Kings Heath Albion

JORDAN PORTER bagged a hat-trick for Winyates who got their first Bromsgrove League Division One victory after easing to a 7-2 win over Kings Heath Albion.

David Phelan (2), Danny Murphy and Andy Langman were also on target for Winyates.

Hawthorns opened up their campaign with a 2-0 victory at Chaddesley Ravens, thanks to Ben Markall’s double, while Bromsgrove Corinthians edged past Arrow Valley 3-2.

Dan Montgomery and Garry Harvey netted for Valley.

Longbridge Social are the early pacesetters in Division Two and are yet to concede a goal after a 3-0 home victory over Solihull Moors.

Dom Strevens, Josh Smith and Dan Wyatt bagged the goals for Longbridge.

Broughsons made it four points from a possible six after their 3-0 home victory over Lickey End Social.

Mark Wilkes, Reece Miles and Kyron Field were the men who burst the onion bag for Broughsons.

Meadow Park Youth thrashed Redditch Borough 7-2 while Cofton Old Boys and South Birmingham shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw.

Joel Francis and Lloyd Newman netted for Cofton; Mark Bell and Brad Cooper for the visitors.

In Division Three, Millfield Rovers gained their first win since October 2017 with a 2-0 win at Redditch Borough Sunday.

Ash Roland and Jamie Callaghan were on target for Rovers.

Hewell cemented top spot with a 9-2 victory over Redditch United Sunday.

Chris Stringer and Luke Mitchell netted for Redditch.

SO Goose also maintained their 100 per cent record after two games with a comfortable 6-0 success over British Memorial.

Chris Adams led the way with a hat-trick while Jamie Denham (2) and Ashley Thompson completed the scoring.

Thomas Harborne (2) and Tom Westwood were on the scoresheet in Stoke Prior’s 3-1 winat Royal Eagles while Bartley Reds Sunday edged out Bromsgrove Academicals 1-0.
