Pilkington Sunday thrash Hizza United to progress in WA Harris Cup

PILKINGTON Sunday are safely through to the second round of Bromsgrove League’s WA Harris Cup after a comfortable 7-0 victory at Hizza United.

Victory for Pilks has set up an away tie at Bromsgrove Athletico.

Chaddesley Ravens have booked their place in the knock-out stages of the Bridgwater Cup after guaranteeing top spot in Group C with a 9-3 success at Awkies Allstars.

There were seven first-half goals as Ravens went into he break 4-3 ahead before running riot after the interval to secure a resounding victory.




Rubery United made it four straight wins in all competitions after downing Black Horse 5-3 in the Premier Division.

Paddy Behan (2), Lewis McPike, Brogan Halpin and Adam Garmson were on target for United.


Elsewhere, Bromsgrove Academicals opened up an eight-point gap at the top of Division Four with a 4-0 home win over Redditch Borough Sunday.

Nick Baker (2), Ryan Sproston and Ryan Cooper were on the scoresheet for Academicals.
