MEADOW Park booked their place in the second round of the Bromsgrove Charity Junior Cup with a 7-1 victory over under-strength Oak Tree Sporting.

Liam Molesworth and Nick O’Connell bagged braces while Max Crisp, Chris Glover and Ben Stanford completed their scoring.

Joe Smith netted a consolation with a superb overhead kick.

Millfield Rovers also secured their place in the next round with a 4-0 victory over Wychbold RBL courtesy of James Ward’s double and strikes from Shane Smith and Josh White.




A hat-trick from Mark Cook guided Cofton Old Boys to a 3-1 victory over Bromsgrove Academicals in the preliminary round of the prestigious WA Harris Cup.

Domonic Ward pulled one back for Academicals.


Hewell will meet Sporting Rednal or Studley Lions in the second round of the £500 prize money tournament after edging past Rubery Athletic 3-2.

Andy Court bagged both of Athletic’s goals.

Winyates safely progressed into the first round of the Centenary Cup as goals from Dave Phelan (2), Andy Squibb and Ben Rogers secured a 4-1 victory over Callowbrook Swifts Green.

Sam Pillinger netted for Green.

Meanwhile, a hat-trick from Lewis Smith and strike from Jamie Hatfield guided Studley Lions to a 4-0 quarter-final victory over Hizza United.

FC Highgate United will meet Sporting Rednal in the first round of the Division One Cup after edging past FC Hop Pole 2-1.

Laurence Martin and Ben Markall scored for United; Dariusz Michalak for Hop Pole.

Laburnum eased into the quarter-finals of the Rose Bowl with a 5-0 victory over Stoke Prior.

Ryan Sproston bagged a hat-trick with Simon Millward and an own-goal completing the scoring.

Northfield Athletic got the better of rivals Bartley Green Illey Sunday in the quarter-finals of the Premier Cup as goals from Jason Cowley, Josh Moore, Reece Ward and Reiss Brians secured a 4-2 victory.

Connor Collins and Carl Martin got on the scoresheet for BGIS.

Elsewhere, FC Bromsgrove secured a 5-2 victory at Chaddesley Corbett Reserves in Group C of the Bridgwater Cup.

Nathan Poole (2), Callum Lammas, Mark Smith and Blakeway scored for Brosmgrove; Anthony Ward and Gaz Moriaty for Corbett.

Black Horse continue to lead the way in the Bromsgrove & District League Premier Division after beating Belbroughton Athletic 3-0.

Meanwhile reigning champions Thomas Brothers slumped to a 2-0 defeat at Pilkington Sunday thanks to goals from Klarke Bird and Sam Collins.

Chaddesley Corbett made it four wins out of four in Division One as they defeated Sporting Rednal 8-1 courtesy of hat-tricks from Matt Perry and Ben Tolley and singles from Ryan Moore and Dan Weston.

The other game in the division saw Red Lion edge past Bromsgrove Athletico 3-2.

Dan Bearcroft (2) and Pete Jenvey got the winning goals for the visitors.

Four goals from debutant Jamie Sippetts guided Redditch United Sunday to an 8-2 victory over AFC Northfield in Division Two.

Nathan Derrick (2), Jake Wicketts and Troy Herbert also netted for the Reds.

Dan Sill was once again the hero for Sporting Club Redditch as his goal ensured they claimed a 1-0 win at Spa Athletic.

In Division Three, Bromsgrove Corinthians saw their 100 per cent record come to an end after Rubery Legends came from 3-0 down to draw 3-3.

Alex Beck (2) and Wes Connor had fired Corinthians into what seemed an unassailable lead before Jahmel Travis, Lee Farrell and Jake Bootton pulled Legends level.

Elsewhere, Stoke Works enjoyed a 4-1 victory at Millfield Rovers Reserves thanks to goals from Adam Ravenscroft (2), Ryan Cooper and Paul Halfpenny.

Stu Hatfield bagged a consolation for Rovers.
