INSIDE VIEW - Rouslers captain Richard Gregory previews Hitchin Town

Sporting captain Richard Gregory takes The Standard behind the scenes at the Victoria Ground, looking ahead to Saturday’s home game with Hitchin Town (3pm).

This Saturday we look forward to another home game in our search for promotion against a decent side in Hitchin who took points from us earlier in the season.

Although they don’t really have a great deal to play for at this stage, they have a good, young side with plenty of energy in their ranks, so we will all need to be at our best to take three points.

We’ve trained twice this week and the boys are looking forward to the game even more so because of Storm Dennis deciding to interfere with our match at Hednesford last weekend.

We have 12 cup finals left now until the end of the season and we will try our very best to win every single one of them.

After that, matters in the league and promotion race will take care of itself.

With that said, not only do we need as many of our fans there as possible this weekend, we need all of you to be encouraging us and be loud in your support throughout the next few weeks as it really does give us that extra push.
