INSIDE VIEW - Robbie Bunn's Bromsgrove Sporting column

Bromsgrove Editorial 16th Dec, 2017   0

Bromsgrove Sporting midfielder Robbie Bunn writes for The Standard in his weekly column and reflects on the weekend’s postponement and looks ahead to a busy schedule.

LAST week had both highs and lows mixed in after the excitement of the midweek penalty win and then the disappointing news that Saturday’s clash against one of the only teams to have beat us this season would be cancelled due to the weather.

The lads were gutted that Saturday’s game was called off as we all felt we needed to put in a big performance and a big result against Coventry Sphinx who beat us early on in the season.

With the game being cancelled and no training facility available, the lads were told to do their own things in terms of keeping themselves ticking over in preparation for another big week of football ahead.

This week puts us up against a big, physically strong side in Lye Town and also a midweek cup clash against Dudley Sports who are going to be well up for the game and will fancy themselves to perform an upset.

Both games are very different and I’m sure the gaffer will have his plans in place in order for us to be in a position to win both matches.

Two different sides and two different game plans but both opposing threats that obviously we are looking to nullify.
