INSIDE VIEW - Craig Jones' Bromsgrove Sporting column

Bromsgrove Editorial 23rd Mar, 2018   0

Bromsgrove Sporting skipper Craig Jones writes for The Standard in his weekly column and reflects on Tuesday night’s 4-0 home defeat to Coleshill Town.

IT HAS not been a very good week for us, but then, how many times over the last few years has that been said?

Tuesday night against Coleshill was a huge disappointment and we let ourselves as well as the fans down with a poor performance.

But it is important we stick together and bounce back as a unit.

One bad performance does not define a season, the same as an outstanding one does not either.

There is plenty of football left to be played, starting with another tough one at Sporting Khalsa on Saturday where the reaction must be positive.

We have worked ourselves into a great position and I’m sure anyone would have taken where we are at this stage of the season at the start.

Tuesday was nowhere near good enough.

No excuses can be made for the display.

We know that and we are desperate to put it right.
