HIGHGATE Dynamos will be the sole Bromsgrove League representative in the FA Sunday Cup fourth round following their 5-1 victory over BGIS Fairfield.

Austin Ex Apprentices unfortunately crashed out after being edged out 1-0 by AFC Jacks at the Triplex Social Club.

There is good news from the Worcester Nursing Minor Cup as all four semi-finalists are from the Bromsgrove League.

Studley Lions thumped Awkies Allstars 5-0, thanks to four goals from Nick Briggs, scoring in his 11th consecutive game, and one from Marc Jovanovic.

Second half goals from Matt Phipps and Adam Stochkall ensured Chaddesley Pensioners came from behind to claim a 2-1 success at Worcester League outfit Droitwich Spa Eagles while Kings Norton Sporting enjoyed a 5-3 win over Eaton FC.

Meanwhile, David Phelan bagged a brace in Winyates’ 4-0 defeat of FC Korono.

Ben Rogers and Ivan Karov were also on target.

In the Worcester Nursing Junior Cup, The Hawthorns were beaten 3-2 by Callow End.

Billy Vaughan gave Hawthorns the lead before getting himself sent off for arguing with math official over a penalty award for Callow, which was subsequently converted to level the tie.

An own-goal from Ben Markall’s free-kick then gave Hawthors the lead but two late goals from Callow ensured it was the Worcester League Premier side progressing into the next round.

There was one match in Group B of the Presidents Cup where Catshill emphatically beat Millfield Rovers 11-1.

Joseph Brookes (4) and Dan Wilkes (3) led the way for Catshill whose other scorers were Nathan Poole (2), Stee Collett (2) and Gary Macpherson.

Chris Burford netted for Rovers.

Bromsgrove Athletico moved off the bottom of the Division One table with a 7-2 home win over Sporting Club Redditch.

In Division Three, league leaders Arrow Valley threw away a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 with Rubery Legends.
