Highgate Dynamos down Austin Ex Apprentices to lift Premier Cup

HIGHGATE Dynamos won the Bromsgrove League Premier Cup after a resounding 3-0 victory over Austin Ex Apprentices on Tuesday night.

Dan Carter bagged a brace while Jack Wilson got the goal of the game with a stunning 25-yard strike to complete the scoring.

Dynamos booked their place in the final after downing Rubery United 4-0 on Sunday.

AFC Northfield are through to the final of the Worcester Nursing Junior Cup after securing a 2-0 victory at Callow End.




David Dainty and Aaron Westwood were on the scoresheet.

There was also cup joy for Studley Lions who are in the final of the Worcester Nursing Minor Cup following the 5-2 defeat of Winyates.


Ben Ellicott (2), Marco Jovanovic, Nick Briggs and Matt Edwards with the goals for Lions.

There was a nine-goal thriller in the sole Division One game where Avenue edged past Quinton Athletic 5-4, thanks to goals from Brad Carter (2), Perry Macleod (2) and Matt Carter.

Anton Gardner-Bennett and Cordell White bagged braces for Athletic.

Redditch United Sunday remain rooted to the foot of the Division Two table after being dispatched 9-1 by Chaddesley Ravens.

Kings Norton Sporting consolidated second spot in the Division Three table with a 4-1 victory over Crown Athletic.

Richard Burgess struck three times in Chaddesley Pensioners’ 5-2 victory over Cofton Old Boys while Lickey End Social enjoyed a 3-0 win over Royal Eagles.

Will Bacchus (2) and Oli Pugh netted for Lickey.
