FIVE goals from Jack Bate helped Bromsgrove Sporting U11 Colts blitz Solihull Superstars 16-0 to top the Amber Group in the Central Warwickshire Youth Football League.

Mickey Senior hit a hat-trick, Ryley Haddock and Harrison Biddlestone fired braces, while Cian Alwright, Charlie Ellson, Ben Jackson and Alfy Leadbetter completed the scoring.

A 5-4 thriller was edged by the U11 Colts Reds against Sutton United Panthers, thanks to goals from Joe Mullins (2), Alfie Evans, Samsu Ndong and man-of-the-match Ethan Evans. As a result, Bromsgrove lead the Green Group.

Joseph Collins’ brace was a highlight from an enthralling 4-4 draw between the U16 Colts Whites and Solihull in U16 Division Six. Kian Halley and Evan Close were also on target.

In U15 Division Five, the U15 Colts went down 3-2 to Bartley Reds, despite a man-of-the-match showing from Luke Resuggen.

The U13 Colts Athletic suffered their first defeat of the season away to Phoenix Rangers Youth in a 1-0 defeat. Despite this, Sporting remain top of U13 Division Five.

The U16 Colts Reds lost 3-1 at Tattenhoe in the Midland Junior Premier League U16s section.

The hosts moved into a two-goal lead but the visitors had a lifeline when Deacon Dempster-Jones pulled a goal back with 20 minutes left.

But when Bromsgrove threw numbers forward in the final minute of play in search of an equaliser, they were caught out on the break and conceded a third.

Nashon Dawson was named the man-of-the-match for his combative midfield showing.

Luke Brown’s last-minute winner for the U17 Colts Reds helped defeat AFC Rushden & Diamonds’ under-18 side in a 1-0 victory in the U18 section.
