FAIRFIELD Villa have today (January 27) announced the re-signing of Peter Jenvey from Pershore Town, with Dominic Strevens going the other way as part of the deal.

Jenvey played a huge part in Villa’s third place finish in the Midland League Division Two table last season, making 31 appearances and scoring four goals, before making the step-up to Division One outfit Pershore Town.

During his time at Pershore, Jenvey made 16 appearances and scored five goals, but has now returned to Villa hoping to turn their fortunes around.

General manager Paul Oakes said: “Peter was a very influential player in our drive to third spot last season so we are very pleased to get him back as he’s an exceptional footballer at this level.

“Dominic is a very good player too and will enjoy working with Perhsore’s manager Quentin Townsend.”

He added: “It is very good business for both clubs.”
