FAIRFIELD Villa got back to winning ways in the league with a 3-0 victory over FC Stratford.
Ryan Molesworth fired Fairfield into a fifth-minute lead on Saturday afternoon before Alfie Bloomer added the second just four minutes later.
It was his second goal for the club since signing from Studley.
Connor Collins then struck in the 88th minute to complete the scoring to keep Fairfield fourth in the Midlands Two table.
Vice-chairman Paul Oakes said: “After losing to Redditch Borough the previous week we got the perfect response from the players.
“Had it not been for Stratford’s keeper Archie Donaldson, who was superb all game, the scoreline could have been much bigger.
“We scored goals at the right time but I was more pleased with how we approached the game.”
Fairfield are in Les James Challenge Cup action on Saturday when they play host to Midlands Three outfit AFC Solihull.
The winners will meet Enville Athletic in the quarter-finals.
“We don’t know much about AFC Solihull but we’re yet to lose at home and we’d like that to continue,” added Oakes.
