Ex Apprentices down the Ravens - Bromsgrove & District Football League Week 18 round-up

AUSTIN Ex Apprentices produced the result of the weekend after stunning Chaddesley Ravens 7-1 in the Bromsgrove & District League Premier Division.

Droitwich Spa duo Alex Dugmore (3) and Connor Collins made their mark for Austin, with Reece Ward, Ryan Spink and Carlos Martin also in scoring form to blow away the Ravens. Chaddesley stay third, while Austin rise to seventh.

Jack O’Donnell’s strike was in vain as lowly Quinton Athletic lost 2-1 to table-toppers Longbridge Social.

Crown Internazionale are second in Division One after Alex O’Brien, Connor Cashmore and Sam Wright struck in a 3-0 win over Meadow Park in the only fixture to played in the division.




Two goals from Ben Skelton and Daniel Southall, and one from George Parsons helped Studley Rangers hand out a 5-0 thrashing away to AFC Blackwell in the Rose Bowl.

Bromsgrove Partisan are also through, much in part to Nick Baker’s hat-trick in a 5-1 triumph against Easemore United. Paul Halfpenny and Adam Pillinger were the other two Partisan players on the scoresheet.


A four-goal haul from Patrick Behan helped send Rubery Athletico cruising through into the third round of the Kidderminster Hospital Junior Cup. Brogan Halpin, Sean McLoughlin and Rob Shaw completed the scoring in the 7-0 rout against Sporting Club.

Broughsons dumped Kings Heath Albion out of the WA Harris Cup in a 6-2 thriller. Braces for Dave White and Mark Wilkes, plus one each for Ben Higgins and Adam Watson, ensured an impressive away victory and progression to the second round.

Royal Eagles edged out Kings Heath Concorde 4-2 in a Centenary Cup group stage tie, while

Rubery Legends are out of the Worcester Nursing Cup after going down 5-2 at home to New Dales, exiting at the third round stage.

On the national stage, goals from Lewis Clarke and Ricardo Richards took Black Horse into the fourth round of the FA Sunday Cup with a 2-0 away win at Long Eaton TNI.
