Dugmore and Collins hit hat-tricks as BGIS Fairfield thump Red Lion 7-1

ALEX DUGMORE and Connor Collins bagged hat-tricks as BGIS Fairfield cruised to a 7-1 victory at Red Lion in the Bromsgrove League Premier Division.

Marcus George was also on target for BGIS while Dan Bearcroft replied for Lion.

Meadow Park got their first win of the season as they came from behind to beat Black Horse 2-1.

Jack Brimmell gave Horse an early lead but goals from Matt Chambers and Liam Molesworth secured the win for the visitors.




Avenue FC got back to winning ways in Division One with a 6-2 victory over The Hawthorns.

Daniel Moy (3), Jamie Molyneux (2) and debutant Andrew Surplice netted for the hosts.


AFC Northfield enjoyed a 5-0 victory at Quinton Athletic, thanks to goals from Luke Dugmore (2), Connor Deards, Aaron Westwood and James Brearley.

Meanwhile, in a nine-goal thriller at the Charford Recreation Ground, Sporting Grapevine were edge out 5-4 by Wychbold RBL.

Aaron Stephens (2), Cieran Sheehan and Joe Dolphin were on target for Wychbold; Jack Steele (2) and Rory Milbourne (2) for Grapevine.

In the only Division Two game of the weekend, Hizza United secured a 7-4 victory over Rubery Sunday Juniors.

Harry Nicholls led the way with a hat-trick for United while Josh Bowen, Ashley Parker, Scott Young and Jordy Wells completed their scoring.

There was also one game in Division Three where braces from James Priddle and Garry Harvey fired Arrow Valley to a 5-1 victory at Crown Athletic.

Rob Voice was also on target for Valley.

Meanwhile, a hat-trick from Craig Williams and double from Harry Garner guided AFC Norton to a 5-1 victory over Millfield Rovers in Division Four.

Elsewhere, in the first of the Bromsgrove & Redditch Standard Shield games, Austin Ex Apprentices cruised to a 7-0 victory at Pilkington Sunday in Group A while Chaddesley Corbett thumped Pilkington Sunday 6-0 in Group B.

Ricky Cowdell (2), Josh Cowdell-Jones, Chris Mitchell, Seb Chater and Ryan Moore netted for Corbett.
