BROMSGROVE School pupil Lili-Rose Hunt scooped the Worcestershire County Championship Gross and Net awards at the Worcestershire County Golf presentation night last Sunday.
The 14-year-old had a breakthrough year in 2019, lifting the Worcestershire and Herefordshire Junior Girls’ County Championship and IAPS titles, before ranking fourth in the girls’ County Champion of Champions event.
Those successes were enough to qualify for the European Championship finals in Cadiz, Spain, where she finished 17th overall, and earn a call-up to the regional England golf squad.
Hunt was also presented with a ‘Certificate of Outstanding Achievement’ at the awards night, which was hosted by Kings Norton Golf Club.
