BUSY Bromsgrove Sporting boss Brendan Kelly has struck deals with four more of last season’s title-winning squad to keep them at the Victoria Ground.

No-nonsense defender Daniel Morris, left-back turned central midfielder Josh Quaynor, winger John Pykett and pocket rocket Sean Brain have all given their assurances they will remain at the Midland League Premier Division champions.

They join goalkeeper Reece Francis, defenders Aaron Roberts and Guy Clark, midfielders Liam Armstrong, R’Mar Murray, Max Loveridge, Harry Harris and Aaron Williams as well as striker Richard Gregory who have all pledged their allegiances to the Rouslers.

Kelly will continue his efforts to secure the services of the rest of the squad which is beginning to take shape ahead of Sporting’s Southern League East berth.

However, the Sporting gaffer will be without former Studley midfielder Luke Dugmore who has agreed to join Midland League Division Three outfit Alcester Town.

“It has been nonstop and we are just waiting now to see what is happening with Jack Wilson and Craig Jones,” said Kelly.

“They have to think about the extra travelling and with Jack expecting a child he is going to have to have a chat with his partner.

“Luke has moved on because of the travelling too.”

Kelly confirmed he had agreed terms with two new players, one from a team in the Welsh leagues and another from a team in Southern League Central.

Kelly added he wanted to make a couple more signings and revealed six or seven players had been invited to pre-season training.
