BROMSGROVE SC have secured promotion to Division Two of the National Arena League.
Members travelled to the Cheslyn Hay Leisure Centre in Walsall for the third round gala knowing only the top four teams would go up from Division Three.
With some young swimmers being pushed up into the higher age categories, it was always going to be tough for Bromsgrove.
However, the club battled hard and came fourth in the gala.
Although members were disappointed with the result, it was enough for them to finish third in the division overall to secure promotion.
Head coach Matthew Lowe said: “I asked a lot from our young swimmers at this gala and I am very proud of the way they pulled together and produced this result.
“As a club, we are looking forward to next year and the challenge of Division Two.”
