JASON GIBBONS starred for Awkies Allstars in their Centenary Cup semi-final clash against Hizza United as his three goals helped his side on their way to a 4-1 victory.

Michael Ryan had given the Allstars the lead before Gibbons went on to score his treble to secure their first internal Bromsgrove & District League final.

Northfield Athletic booked their place in the final of the Division One Cup with a comprehensive 4-1 victory over Bartley Green Illey Sunday courtesy of a hat-trick from Jason Cowley and strike from Joshua Moore.

Connor Collins had given Bartley Green the lead inside 10 minutes before their demise.




Meanwhile, Meadow Park secured the biggest upset of the day as they overcame the two division bridge gap to claim a 3-2 victory over cup favourites VBG Fairfield in the second round of the WA Harris Cup.

Two goals from Sam Wright and one from Ben Stanford against his former club secured the win for Park; Shaun May got on the scoresheet for Fairfield with an own-goal completing their scoring.


In the sole Bromsgrove & District League Premier Division game, WCT Youth Raiders claimed a comfortable 4-0 victory over Oak Tree Sporting thanks to an own-goal and efforts from Dale Goddard, Thomas Hobbs and Tom Ward.

Chaddesley Corbett cemented their position at the top of Division One with a 4-1 victory away at Conway Albion with the goals coming from Matthew Perry (3) and Ryan Moore for Corbett.

The other game in the division saw an eight-goal thriller between Sporting Rednal and GLA with the home side walking away as 5-3 winners thanks to two goals from Lloyd Newman and singles from Richard Heywood, Michael Connelly and Anton Gardner-Bennett.

Division Two leaders Rednal Social Club slipped up in their title charge as they slumped to a 3-0 defeat at Woodgate Valley.

Jamie Sippitts, Ben Smith and Nick Wilson got on the scoresheet for Valley.

Sporting Club Redditch edged past Rubery Juniors 4-3 in a seven-goal encounter at Henley Forest courtesy of a Shaun Maynard hat-trick and effort from Harry Sharpe.

Connor Chipman (2) and Nathan Derricks netted for Juniors.

Meanwhile, Chaps United romped to a 5-1 victory away at LPR.

Division Three leaders Rubery maintained their position at the summit of the table with a more than comfortable 8-0 victory over Stoke Prior.

Callowbrook Swifts Green remain four points behind Rubery following their 2-0 victory away at Bromsgrove Corinthians thanks to a brace from James Ward.

Chaddesley Corbett Reserves sit one point further back as they won by a similar scoreline at Stoke Sporting Reserves with Forde McKenzie and Matt Neale scoring the goals.

Arrow Valley edged past basement club Laburnum 2-1 courtesy of strikes from Garry Harvey and Craig Jenkins.

Elsewhere, AFC Millfields and FC Bromsgrove shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw with Ashley Roland and Ryan Wood netting for Millfields.
