BROMSGROVE’s sports clubs are set to battle it out in support of charity, ahead of the upcoming launch of the Blaze studio at David Lloyd Bromsgrove tomorrow.
The new HIIT studio, otherwise known as high-intensity interval training, will bring the “workout of your life” to Bromsgrove residents, admits David Lloyd Bromsgrove general manager, Laura Wright.
“Our new, boutique HIIT studio combines cardio, strength and combat in a 45 minute class to improve your fitness, strength and agility; fast.
“We are extremely excited about the launch of Blaze as it is the only boutique studio of its kind in Worcestershire.”
To celebrate the studio’s launch, Bromsgrove RFC, Bromsgrove CC and Bromsgrove Sporting have all signed up to take on David Lloyd Bromsgrove on Wednesday March 6 at 7:30pm, in a four-way battle to be crowned ‘Blaze Champions’.
In doing so, the four clubs will be raising money for the Primrose Hospice, with donations being accepted on a JustGiving page – found here: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/david-lloyd-bromsgrove.
Wright also commented: “This Blaze Battle will not only be a whole lot of fun, it will help us raise as much money as possible for Primrose Hospice which all the participants support regularly. Your donations are very much appreciated’.
Anna Wilson, a fundraiser at Primrose Hospice, admitted her delight at the generosity of Bromsgrove’s sports clubs in supporting the charity at the event.
“We are really grateful for the support that all four clubs are giving us by choosing us as their chosen charity for the event.
“It is going to be a great evening and we will be there supporting the Blaze Battle on the 6th should you wish to donate in person.”
