THE NATIONAL Cross Country Relays took place at Berry Park in Mansfield and this testing course proved to be an exciting challenge for Bromsgrove & Redditch Athletic Club runners.
The venue features rolling countryside and wooded areas and once again B&R’s under-17 girls’ squad were in terrific form over the 2.5km distance.
Ellen Bowen was 40th in nine mins 47secs, Amy Mijovic-Couldwell 24th in 9.43 and Chelsea Wright 26th in 10.23 as the A team finished 26th out of 64.
The B team was incomplete again but there were good runs by Eleanor Moss who clocked 10.17 and Alice Battey who recorded 11.02.
