AVONCROFT claimed an enthralling one-wicket victory over third-from-bottom Eastnor, thanks to the Duckworth Lewis system.
The Herefordshire side was put into bat after losing the toss but they set an imposing total of 278 all out, thanks to some late order scoring from Scott Roberts (53), Martin Loveridge (44), Moahmmed Ibrar (32) and Jamie Onions (37).
The score was all the more impressive after Eastnor had recovered from 35-4.
Paul Athey (3-35), Jonathan Hunter (2-38), Mark Whitehead (2-31), Craig Hughes (2-67) and Josh Cound (1-41) took the wickets for Croft.
With bad weather approaching, Croft went all guns blazing and reached a winning total of 130-9 inside 22 overs.
