FAIRFIELD Villa have announced that they are pleased to have re-signed goalkeeper Aaron Collins in time for this weekend’s game at Sutton United.
Collins had joined Villa last season but due to his work commitments he decided to leave the club, but following a chance call, general manager Paul Oakes is happy that the brother of last season’s MFL Division Two top scorer Connor Collins has returned.
“As both our goalkeepers are out of action, it was lucky that Aaron rang me up saying that he’d changed his job and would be available on a regular basis to play for us”, he said.
He added: “We are over the moon to have brought him back to the club and he’ll fit right into the squad ready for this Saturday’s game at Sutton United.”
