YOUNGSTERS from Rednal Hill Infants School held a Mad Hatter’s tea party yesterday.
The teachers have been reading the novel to the year one children and they have been learning about the characters and tea parties.
The pupils watched the film to see what happened during CS Lewis’ Mad Hatter’s tea party and found out about other events to see what they wanted at theirs.
They compiled a shopping list and a table plan to make sure there was enough room for everyone.
One of the year one teachers Charlotte Habershon told The Standard: “It went really well.
“To see the children’s faces when we revealed the party they had planned was such a nice moment.”
