Young talented Bromsgrove musicians to be taking to the stage for their latest gig

Bromsgrove Editorial 19th Mar, 2018   0

YOUNG talented musicians from Bromsgrove who are aged between 11 and 18 will be taking to the stage for their latest gig next Saturday, March 24.

The event starts at 6pm at the Stoke Prior Sports and Country Club and will feature the members of Bromsgrove Rock School.

The group meets every Saturday morning under the leadership of professional musician Brian Hoggard, supported by guitarist Loz Ruston and vocal coach Givvi Flynn.

The ambitious youngsters are grouped into different bands and will be performing a selection of songs including: Rock You Like A Hurricane by The Scorpions, In The End by Linkin Park, Bring Me To Life by Evanescence, The A-Team by Ed Sheeran, Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green Day and Seven Nation Army by the White Stripes.

Residents can go along to the event which is free but donations (a minimum of £2) are requested for the David Morgan Trust.

The trust supports the musical education of young people in the Bromsgrove district by offering grants and involving them in projects which will improve their musical skill and knowledge.

The Trust provided funding for the set-up of Bromsgrove Rock School in 2017 and continues to support the School as it becomes more established in the local area.

Call Brian Hoggard on 07720 211002 or email [email protected] for more information on the Rock School and the event.
