EMPLOYEES of The Luxury Spot Salon in Wythall held a special pamper day and afternoon tea for the Fur and Feathers animal sanctuary which has been chosen as the business’ charity of the year.
The volunteers from the Wythall sanctuary received a range of treatments on Saturday from hair to nails and beauty.
An afternoon tea was also put on for the whole team in the salon’s newly-renovated tea room.
Salon owner Kate Homan said: “They charity is local, the staff all have animals and are massive animal lovers, some have even adopted from there.
“It is such a deserving cause and we have already started fund-raising because winter is the hardest time for the sanctuary.”
Last year the salon raised cash for eight different charities and the staff are hoping for a similarly successful drive in 2018.
“We hope we can have another great year raising money like we did last year,” added Kate.
