Wychbold Fudge joins new campaign to support county's food and drink sector

A MAJOR campaign has been launched to support the county’s food and drink sector.

And leading the way in north Worcestershire is a family-run business turning out the best fudge in the region.

Wychbold Fudge, in between Bromsgrove and Droitwich, is part of the new ‘Make it Worcestershire’ drive.

The county has a plethora of producers and outlet shops and this new campaign aims to further showcase and celebrate local produce to shoppers both digitally and in shops.

Customers are being encouraged to love their local shops and look out for the Make it Worcestershire campaign which highlights the produce made in the county.

“We wanted to do something together as a family and took over Wychbold Fudge in February,” said Sheena Beck, who runs the company with help from husband Adam and children Joseph and Libby.

“It’s all home made, we use seasonal fruits and Droitwich salt and we sell from our website and from farmers’ markets. On top of that it tastes delicious!”

Local artisan producers in Redditch and Bromsgrove are urged to get involved – just visit www.oneworcestershire.com.
