Woman suffered serious injuries after being hit by a car in Northfield

A WOMAN is in hospital with critical injuries after being hit by a car in Northfield yesterday.

The incident happened at 4.50pm outside a GP surgery on the Bunbury Road, near to the junction of Overbury Road.

A nurse was quickly on the scene and provided care until the wo ambulances, a paramedic officer, the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car and the West Midlands Care Team car with two doctors on board arrived.

She was given advanced life support before being taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital’s Major Trauma Centre.




There were a man and a woman in the car; neither was injured.

Witnesses or anyone with any information should call police on 101.
