POLICE are hunting a man who carried out a sexual assault at the Lickey Hills this morning.
It happened between 7.30am and 8am near the visitor centre on Warren Lane.
The victim, a woman in her 30s, was walking her dog when the attack happened up a steep bank and in woodland.
She suffered minor injuries and was left shaken by the incident.
The attacker was wearing a coat and had a strong smell of urine about him.
Det Sgt Ian Standing said: “We take reports of this nature very seriously and a thorough investigation is underway while the victim is being supported by specially-trained officers.”
Police have stepped up extra patrols in the area and detectives are working hard to track down the suspect.
