Woman in 'critical but stable' condition after fall from Rubery tower block

A WOMAN is in a critical but stable condition in hospital after she fell from a tower block in Rubery in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The 29-year-old sustained critical injuries following the incident around 1.50am at Quarry House, Cock Hill Lane.

West Midlands Police are investigating in a bid to piece together what happened and have urged anyone with any information to call officers on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said an ambulance, senior paramedic officer and trauma doctor were sent to the scene.




The woman was given specialist trauma care for multiple injuries at the scene before being taken to the trauma unit at Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
