A WOMAN in her 20s had to be cut from a car after it crashed into a garden wall and gate in Bromsgrove in the early hours of Saturday morning (July 25).

The incident happened around 1am in Shaw Lane, Stoke Prior.

Two crews from Bromsgrove Fire Station used hydraulic equipment to free the woman from the Volkswagen Passat and she was then taken to Redditch’s Alexandra Hospital.

The woman suffered neck and back pain but, miraculously, had no serious injuries following the crash.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said a paramedic, paramedic officer, responder and a MERITS trauma doctor were sent to the scene.

Witnesses or anyone with any information should call the police on 101.
