MEMBERS of the Catshill Methodist Church have made 400 knitted Christmas angels for residents to find across the village, writes Ryan Smith.
The angels will be hidden for people to find in public places across Catshill village such as shops, hedges and pubs during advent and can be used as Christmas decorations and gifts.
Each angel has a label attached saying ‘Love came down at Christmas’, as well as a verse of scripture that could be helpful to people around the festive period.
Catshill Methodist Church minister Rev Anne Smith said: “We hope the angels will give a moment of joy and peace at this time of the year, and help the folks of Catshill recognise the Love of God that we see through Jesus’s birth.
“It is as a celebration of that love that the angels have been made and given.”
