PEOPLE in Bromsgrove and South Birmingham are being urged to sign up to a 5k Halloween Fun Run to raise funds for Rednal brain injury Headway.
The event will take place in Cofton Park, Longbridge, at 11am next Sunday, October 27.
The course is ideal for participants whether they want to run, jog or walk and there will also be a host of spooky-themed activities, including scary painting and the Halloween dash for those under ten.
Julie Wedgbury, Headway Birmingham and Solihull’s fund-raising manager, said: “We are keen to make this a family-friendly event and so will be aiming for Halloween fun, rather than fright.”
She confirmed there would be plenty of spookery and witchery along the woodland paths and hoped both participants and spectators would dress up.
There are prizes on offer for the best Halloween costumes on the day.
Entry to the Halloween Fun Run is just £10 in advance.
It includes a themed medal as well as a ‘Trick or Treat’ goody bag.
Places are limited and so people should visit www.headway-bs.org.uk/events, call 07483 173877 or email [email protected] for more information to enter.
The Halloweenie Dash can be entered on the day.
