A WELLNESS Evening for women approaching, going through or having finished the menopause will take place in Bromsgrove.
The event, organised by town fitness expert Claire Cross, will take place at the Sixty Degrees Cafe on the High Street at 7.30pm on March 26.
Lifestyle advice around fitness, nutrition and wellbeing will be offered by expert Claire Cross, along with women’s health physiotherapist Leila Holmes from Physio Advantage.
Taster sessions in Reiki and Indian Head Massage will be offered practitioner Samantha Sample and there will be a hot vegetarian buffet put on by Annie from Sixty Degrees.
Mum-of-two Claire, who recently celebrated her 40th birthday, knows how important it is for women to have a healthy lifestyle to help them as their bodies and minds change.
She also wants to convey the message that it does not have to be the negative experience people worry it will be.
Claire said: “My mum went through menopause in her early 40s so being as healthy as I can be now is so important to me.
“I want other women to feel confident to take charge of their health and wellness, it’s never too early to start.”
The evening promises to be fun and social, as well as informative and is aimed at offering women tips they can use the very next day.
They will also be able to speak to like-minded women going through similar experiences.
Tickets for the event are £15 and, as March in Ovarian Cancer Month, there will also be a raffle for the charity.
