A WEEKLY fitness class designed exclusively for those aged 50 and over has arrived in Bromsgrove.

‘Fit for Life’, based at the Scout Hut next to Sanders Park, offers over 50s, both men and women, the chance to take part in gentle exercises while also meeting new people along the way.

“Everyone’s first class is free of charge,” said Olivia Jones, the brains behind Fit for Life and KO Sport, “It gives people an opportunity to see if it’s right for them.”

“The group exercise circuit will leave you buzzing from the activity and also the companionship, while also increasing your cardiovascular performance, muscle strength, core strength and flexibility.

“All while listening to fantastic tunes from the 60s, 70s and 80s!”

The women’s class takes place every Wednesday between 10.30am and 11.15am and promises to continue to burn calories long after it’s finished.

“While you will be sweating and out of breath, the best thing about Ladies Fit For Life, is that it’s completely do-able,” said Olivia.

“Invite your family or friends to join and don’t worry about how well you’ll keep up, or fit in, as we’re all friends here.”

The popular men’s class is held every Tuesday between 3pm and 4.15pm.

Cost per class is £5.
