Warning to drivers after spate of car crimes in Rubery and Rednal

A WARNING has gone out to drivers in Rubery and Rednal after a number of vehicle crimes in the area.

On Thursday, Power Tools were stolen when a silver Volkswagen Caddy Van was broken into at the Lickey Hills Country Park, Warren Lane, between 2.45pm and 3.40pm.

And on the same night, between 7.50pm and 9.18pm, the back window of a grey Vauxhall Astra was broken and a number of bags containing clothing were stolen while the car was parked in a pub car park on Lickey Road, Rednal.

In a third incident, damage was caused to the driver’s door of a white Ford Fiesta parked in Windmill Avenue, Rubery, between 11pm on Wednesday and 3.30am on Thursday as thieves tried to gain entry.
