THERE has been plenty to do for visitors of all ages at Avoncroft Museum over Easter.
During the bank holiday weekend, re-enactors from Tudor and Victorian times brought the venue to life and there was an Easter trail with chocolate prizes and themed craft activities, along with a special Children’s Easter Service in the Mission Church.
Demonstrations of nailmaking and blacksmithing were held and there was archery, pony rides and performances by the Vintage Class Singers.
This week, there have also been spring-themed activities at the museum and next week it moves onto a St George’s Day theme.
From Tuesday to Thursday, April 10 and 12, young visitors can take part in dragon lair-making and dragon-tracking, make a flag or coat of arms and even dragon food.
