Visitors can go from Artrix to Africa thanks to a new exhibition

VISITORS can go from Artrix to Africa, thanks to a new exhibition by Bromsgrove artist Lyn Sharp.

Out of Africa is the artist’s first exhibition at the School Drive venue and features pieces created in a variety of mediums.

They depict a multitude of African scenes and animals, including orangutans, elephants and giraffes.

There is also a large picture of two cheetahs which combines textiles, paint and glue which Lyn wants to find a good home for.

Lyn, who has created the collection from photographs she has accrued over the years, said: “I’ve always had an interest in Africa and its animals and really enjoyed creating the pictures.”

All the pieces are for sale at the exhibition which runs until July 16.
