BROMSGROVE woman Emily Austin is making a marathon effort for Cancer Research UK and will run in London on Sunday just seven days after completing the 26 miles in Brighton.
The 29-year-old has also already has eight mud runs three half-marathons, among others, behind her.
“It’s part of my 30/30 medal goal I started this time last year.
“Brighton was 29 and London will be 30.
“My dad passed away from cancer when I was four,” said Emily.
But her father is not the only person she is championing.
“During each and every run I have thought about the people that benefit from the work this charity does, mothers, brothers, grandparents, children, friends, colleagues the list goes on.
“I don’t know a single person lucky enough to say not one of their friends or family members have been effected by cancer.”
“I run because I can – you never know when you’ll not be able to.”
