Two Bromsgrove GP surgeries hit by Covid-19 outbreaks

Bromsgrove Editorial 5th Jan, 2021   0

TWO Bromsgrove GP surgeries have been hit by Covid-19 outbreaks.

Services at the Davenal House and Stoke Prior practices have led to a staff shortage while workers self-isolate and that had impacted on the normal levels of service it offered to patients.

In a statement on the website, bosses said: “We have isolated a significant proportion of our clinical and non clinical staff following a Covid 19 outbreak at the surgery.”

It asked for understanding and patience at this difficult time and added emergency measures had been taken so the practices could continue to provide a service to patients enrolled at the two surgeries.

It urged patients to only contact the practice for urgent queries only in the next seven days.

“Where possible use other sources of support such as our website as your first port of call.

“If your appointment is cancelled we will contact you directly.

“The dispensary at Stoke Prior is open as normal.”
