THREE world class musicians, singers and songwriters combine together in the band Other Roads to bring their talents to Bromsgrove Folk Club on Thursday, March 8.
Leading from the front, respected singer/songwriter Pete Abbott is joined by eight times Scottish fiddle champion Gregor Borland and former Zimbabwean multi-instrumentalist Dave Walmisley.
The band performs an eclectic mix of traditional, contemporary and original compositions, ranging from soft lilting ballads to foot-stomping Celtic fiddle tunes and choruses.
With expert musicianship, infectious enthusiasm and a touch of humour, their concerts are memorable occasions.
The band is doing a short but extensive tour of the UK following a brief sojourn to Denmark.
Bromsgrove Folk Club meets on the second and last Thursday of every month at Catshill Social Club, Meadow Road, Catshill.
The music starts at 8pm.
Admission for members is £7 (under 25s £3.50) and non-members, who are always made welcome, £9.
