THERE will be spooky goings-on at Morrisons Rubery when a Halloween fund-raiser for CLIC Sargent takes place from 3pm to 6pm on Wednesday, October 31.
There will be free hot chocolate for children, a special guest from Fairytale Party Planners, a tombola and, of course, treats.
Adults can buy hot chocolate for 50p with the revenue from sales of those and other treats going to the charity.
The evening is aimed at providing youngsters with a place they can trick or treat without the usual dark night and road dangers posed by going door-to-door.
It is also aimed at preventing any anxiety being caused among older and vulnerable people.
Morrisons Rubery’s community champion Jane Williams said: “We had more than 200 children came last year and we are hoping for a similar response this time.”
