THERE was tea, coffee, cake, strawberries and cream aplenty at a traditional open air concert held on Sunday afternoon as part of Christ Church in Catshill’s 180th birthday celebrations.
There were performances from Blackwell Concert Band and churchwarden David Coulson took to the stage to sing Rule Britannia.
Pat Hackett, from the church, said it was an enjoyable afternoon.
“The rain held off until the last piece of music had been played,” she added.
