BROMSGROVE Men In Sheds were treated to a relaxing canal trip by the Bromsgrove Lions Club as part of an ongoing collaboration between the two organisations.
The ‘Shedders’ are retirees who together to restore furniture, take part in DIY and complete community projects.
The Lions Club has been supporting the Shedders and they have been working together on a project to refurbish benches at the Princess of Wales Community Hospital.
The weather was fantastic as those on board journeyed along the canals between Tardebigge Wharf and Alvechurch.
Shedder Ed Carswell thanked the Lions Club, describing the day as ‘a very memorable experience’.
