A MAN returned to his car while it was parked in New Road, Rubery, at 1.30pm on Monday to find the back window smashed and his tools had been stolen.
The thieves targeted the Ford Focus, taking a hedge cutter, strimmer and leaf blower.
Police are warning anyone who is offered tools matching the description cheaply not to buy them.
Officers are also urging any witnesses or anyone with any information to call them on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
