THE Ministry of Justice has revealed another prisoner, the third this year, and the second in two weeks has died at HMP Hewell.
The prison, located between Redditch and Bromsgrove, confirmed Colin Blackburn, aged 53, died on July 6.
A prisoner service spokesperson said: “As with all deaths in custody there will be an independent investigation by the Prisons and Probation Ombudsman.”
The news comes not long after the death of 37-year-old prisoner Richard Dimmock on Wednesday, June 26.
