PUPILS and staff from Winterfold School were left amazed when The Duke of Gloucester flew in by helicopter on Thursday September 27.
The royal helicopter landed on the school green because The Duke, who is a paternal cousin of the Queen, had a few places to visit.
He started by unveiling a statue of Stanley Baldwin in Bewdley, then visited the DRP Group in Hartlebury and fimally Metrasens in Malvern.
But that didn’t stop the distinguished royal guest speaking with the children at the school, who were all very excited to have a chat.
Some of the youngsters also managed to have their photo taken standing in front of the helicopter.
