AROUND 800 determined Slimming World members have donated their leftover Christmas goodies to Primrose Hospice, writes Ashton Price.
Some of the treats will be used as prizes to raise funds for the hospice while others will be given out to the patients.
Gaynor Hale, who runs the Slimming World group at Bromsgrove Rugby Club, said: “We try and support the charity as much as we can as it is a charity that is very close to our hearts”
Sarah Harris, the Primrose Hospice’s community fund-raiser, said the charity was incredibly grateful for the donations.
“The Slimming World members’ generosity means we will be able to easily be able to find prizes for our fundraising raffles and tombola for our summer fete”
