MEMBERS of the Bromsgrove Arts and Culture Consortium has issued a rallying call to residents for people to have their say on activities in the district as part of the ‘Tell Me What You Want’ drive.
They will be at the bowling pavilion in Sanders Park between 11am and 2pm every day except Thursdays. They will also be there later, from 5pm to 8pm, every Wednesdays.
People are invited to chat about Bromsgrove’s art scene, their involvement and what arts, culture and heritage events they would like to see.
On Wednesday a group of poets from Beatfreeks, including Bohdan Piasecki, Sean Colletti and Giovanni ‘Spoz’ Esposito ran a poetry workshop for people at LG Harris.
Beatfreeks has teamed up with the consortium for the campaign.
Verse was written on a variety of subjects from marriage, relatives and travel to even an unborn child.
The groups thanked Juliette Straw, LG Harris’ head of personnel, who invited the project to attend the company’s barbecue.
Further events planned for the district include graffiti workshops, the making of short films and a heritage walk.
